S’mores Flight- Everyone’s favorite campfire treat gets a major glow up with 6 brand new flavor combos perfect for summer nights.

Today, we’re making a S’mores Flight!

I love a good s’more as much as the next person. But, I’ve always pushed the limits a little bit to make the classic s’more a little more interesting and unique. I like to switch up the sandwich casing. I like the switch up the chocolate candy. I really just love transforming a traditional s’more into something fun and new.
And, that’s exactly what we’re doing today!
Before we get into the s’mores flavors, let’s talk about roasting marshmallows. I love a good campfire as much as the next person. But, am I firing up a roaring fire on the regular? No. Especially not just for myself. So, here are a couple solutions that I can offer. For me, I love to roast my marshmallows using a tabletop smokeless fire pit. It’s the perfect little portable size, it’s easy to extinguish, and it’s fueled by rubbing alcohol. I have the one I use linked in my Amazon storefront. If you’re craving s’mores and it’s not ideal outside weather, you can also toast marshmallows under the broiler. Line a baking sheet with some parchment paper, move the top rack to 6 inches from the heating element, and broil your marshmallows for only a minute or two until it reaches your desired doneness. Easy breezy…so many options for enjoying a yummy s’more regardless of whenever or wherever.

First up in the flight, we’re making a PB&J s’more. This one starts with all the standard components that we’re used to. So, we need a couple graham crackers, a square of milk chocolate, and a nice toasty marshmallow. But, the magic of this flavor is the schmear of peanut butter we dab onto one cracker and the schmear of strawberry preserves we dab on the other. This combo is all the best parts of salty sweet with a lovely pop of acidity from the strawberry. It’s so amazing.

S'more number two is peanut butter pretzel s’more. We’re ditching the graham cracker and chocolate square completely, and replacing them with some pretzel thins and a Reese’s thin. That’s it. Layer the Reese’s and toasted marshmallow in between two pretzel thins, and sit back to enjoy the magic. Again, this one is all the best parts of salty sweet. And, the crispy pretzels combined with the melty peanut butter cup are such a nice textural pairing too.

Number 3 in the flight is a cinnamon roll s’more. This one is a big baby! For the shell of this one, we’re going to use some of those Tastykake pecan swirls. Growing up, I always thought those little bites were cinnamon rolls, so this is kind of full circle for me. We’ll gently smoosh the buns between our palms to flatten them out. Then, we’ll fill them up with a square of white chocolate and our toasted marshmallow. This flavor is WOW. The melty white chocolate mixed with the toasty marshmallow mimics the frosting on a cinnamon roll, making the whole bite completely magical. But like I said, this one is pretty hearty. So, be prepared to share.

Next up, we’re going to make a banana pudding s’more. We’re welcoming back the standard graham cracker for this one. But honestly, a shortbread or chessman cookie would work perfectly here too. We’ll fill the graham crackers with our toasted marshmallow, a square of white chocolate, and a slice of fresh banana. And let me tell you, this bite is a delicious one. The freshness from the banana helps to break up some of the richness from the rest of the ingredients, but the combo together is still perfectly sweet. Mmmm…delish.

We’re switching gears completely for number 5 in our flight, and making a lemon cookie butter s’more. This one doesn’t have any chocolate in it. But, I promise you won’t even miss it. We’ll start by taking a thin lemon Oreo and carefully opening it up. Then, we’ll dollop a little schmear of cookie butter on one of the cookie halves, layer in our toasty marshmallow, and close everything back up. The brightness from the lemon mixed with the warm spices from the cookie butter is such an unexpected delight. And that sweet caramelized marshmallow ties everything together beautifully. It’s definitely the most unique of the group but also one of my most favorite.

Our sixth and final s’more is a salty sweet lover’s dream. For this s’more we’re not going to use a cookie at all. But instead, we’re going to build on a couple Ritz crackers. To balance out the salty, we’re going to use a square of nice dark chocolate. Then, we’ll finish it off with our toasty marshmallow. This one is savory and buttery and rich and sweet and has so many layers of flavor wrapped up in one little bite. It’s the absolute best.

If you asked me to pick which one of these 6 s’mores options were my favorite, I don’t think I could. You know I live for anything salty sweet, and 3 of the 6 flavors fit that bill. But then, I also love the brightness that the fruity flavors add and the comfort that the cinnamon flavor adds. I love each one of these equally.

So tell me, which one do you want some more of? I don’t know about you, but I’ll be serving all of these at the Fourth of July celebration this year.
I hope you guys enjoy! And, let’s eat!
